Family Friendly Tampa Bay is a business engagement initiative of Thrive by Five, rooted in the belief that companies that prioritize employee retention and productivity by employing family-friendly policies such as paid leave, healthcare plans, flexible schedules, corporate volunteerism, and competitive wages deserve to be celebrated.
Thank you to the over 125 attendees who participated this year, making it our biggest event to date! We had a total of 64 Family Friendly Businesses impacting 148,317 employees. A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Superintendent Kevin Hendrick. A shoutout to our 14 total awardees, and notable new designees: Tampa General Hospital, Suncoast Credit Union, and Power Design.

Thrive by Five’s Business Engagement work group held their summer Family Friendly Tampa Bay networking event hosted by Yeoman’s TopGolf Swing Suite. Businesses learned more about paid parental leave from Gretchen Whalen, Managing Partner at CliftonLarsonAllen, Adriana Generallo, President of Big Sea, and Terri Arias, Health and Wellness Manager at Hillsborough County.
